Here it is, my first submission to the dialogue of cyberworld. I guess there's nothing like a ball of cells dividing in your uterus to get you to start doing all the things you kept saying you would do. Next step, put pictures on here too. Please don't anyone hold their breath for that one though.
What are my plans for this lovely piece of world wide web real estate? Mostly just to keep everyone up-to-date on what is going on, especially since we all know how often I use the phone...
For those of you keeping track, I have made my first appointment. It is on September 17th at 8am. Not sure what I'm suppose to be doing between now and then... Eating well, drinking lots of water, staying active, getting enough sleep - but that all seems very mundane and what I would be doing regardless of my 'condition'... I feel like there has to be something I'm missing.
One unusual thing I am doing is attempting to keep my obsessive desire to know every possible possibility in check; I have bought exactly 2 books on 'what to expect' and one of them was for Christopher. I'm thinking this weekend I will go to the used book store and buy one more (no really, just one). I want to try and not bury my nose in a book for 9 months and instead just enjoy the experience. We'll see how well that works out.
On a super happy "the world is definitely going to be a better place" note, Mr. Evan Manning Roux has finally decided to join us all. He was born on Monday August 4th; the expanded Roux family is doing great!

Yay--so glad you're blogging! AND I'm glad to hear you made that dr's appointment (and no, I won't be a total nag for the next 8 months, I promise). I wish we were closer so we could sit down with some tea and calm each other down :)
